A World Famous View

I went for a sight-seeing wander around Sydney today and headed straight for this place where you can see two well known constructions right next to one another. Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge are famous across the world and symbols of Australia as well as just Sydney.

Did You Know?: Sydney Opera House is covered with 1,056,006 tiles! Up close they look like regular-sized square shaped kitchen tiles.

  2. Haha, well your Dad has a long time to save before he's old! It is really nice here but it looks like it might rain a little bit today, right on the day we plan to go to the beach, typical. There is a really good aquarium to visit if it rains though, it has a platypus!

I was really pleased to read the comments from you, thank you for leaving them. It makes me happy to know my blog has some readers.

  3. Hi Isla,

It never rained but I did get to go to the aquarium (You could probably have guessed that from my blog though!) and I saw something that reminded me of our class last year. I have sent an email to Miss Williams with a photo, I hope it came through ok? If Miss Williams hasn't shown you guys yet perhaps you could ask her nicely and if it hasn't arrived I can try to send it again.
